Idris System. These days, the name incites memories of the controversial Galactic Series finale which saw the Air Hawks claim their first victory, but Idris system has a long and tumultuous history long before Sataball. The system was discovered during Humanity’s rapid expansion of the 26th century, by the exploration vessel, Ika’Roa. Certified by the UPE registry as a Recommended Growth Center in 2533, Idris IV enjoyed a rapid population infusion and was on track to be one of the bright spots in the UPE. When the First Tevarin War broke out, the planet’s role shifted dramatically.[1]

Idris is a five-planet system whose role in the First Tevarin War would forever change the UPE. The system's only inhabited planet, Locke (Idris IV), was experiencing a population boom before it was captured by the Tevarin in 2542. Two years later, the operation to retake Locke almost failed until a young Captain Ivar Messer took command and led UPE forces to victory. The battle turned the tide of the war and is considered Messer's first step on the path to becoming Imperator.
