Rental Equipment Credits (REC) is a virtual currency within the Arena Commander simpod game that allows for renting of ships and ship equipment.[1] Is currently can't be exchanged to or from UEC. It can be earned while playing online Arena Commander matches.
Typically ships and weapons cost 10% of their UEC cost, while renewing the rental gives a 20% discount. Once rented, an item can be used in Arena Commander for 7 24-hour periods.
