The Aegis Sabre Raven is the high tech variant of the Sabre designed for intelligence missions. Unlike usual variants, it features a redesigned hull that cuts down the wide wingspan of the original Sabre to a smaller profile.[1][2]

Features
Improved avionics suite and storage
The Raven's avionics module has completely overhauled to include some of the most cutting-edge hardware and software available, and it has an increased data storage compared to the Sabre.[1]
EMP pods
The Raven features a pair of EMP pods inside its twin missile rack.[1]
Low profile
On top of Sabre’s already comparably low-signature, Raven has a smaller profile by cutting down the wide wingspan of the original Sabre to improve its stealth capability.[1]

- Sabre: The Sabre is the base variant of the Raven.
Special editions
- Sabre Comet: The Comet pays tribute to famed pilot Captain Kamur Dalion for his work with Aegis to usher in a new era of combat ship design. This Sabre comes equipped with a specialized dogfighting focused loadout and a custom special edition livery honoring this iconic ship.[3]
History
The Raven is designed by Aegis Dynamics Lead Designer Blair Nyberg and officially unveiled in CitizenCon 2947, a year after they unveiled the original Sabre as the first in their Phase Two line of spacecraft.[1]
Development
The Raven is first introduced in CitizenCon 2017, as part of the long-time partnership between Intel and CIG on the hardware maker's Optane solid-state hard drives. The ship is bundled with early batch of Optane SSD 900P.[4]
Trivia
- The Raven's color scheme is similar to the brand of Intel.
- The Raven is designed for intelligence mission in mind, with the fact that "Intel" is the term for intelligence information made its role even more appropriate.
