This page lists various tasks that need doing on Star Citizen Wiki. This list shows which tasks may be completed if you are unsure what to do next.

Hot Tasks

These are tasks or issues that more urgently need content, editing, or more user contributions. They are large, more involved tasks than basic edits, and it would be a good idea to consult with the Task leader on what needs to be done.

  • Issue:Systems,_Planets,_and_other_Locations: Many of the Systems pages need simple pages created for asteroid belts, space stations, and other locations. Primary objective is to have the {{System Navplate}} template on every page, which will look good and aid navigation. Requires looking up lore and system information from lore guides and videos.
  • Issue:Comm-Link_Archive: One of the largest on-going projects on the wiki. Task is to transcribe lore pages and comm-links from the RSI website onto the wiki, including wikilinks and other internal content. Details can be found here: Star_Citizen:Comm-Link_Archive
  • Issue:Ship Page Enhancement: An ongoing effort to make sure all relevant information for each ship is on the Wiki. Jump Point is a useful tool, as seen by all the info on the Hurricane page.

Content Creation

The Star Citizen Wiki is still in development and many content pages still need to be created and filled with lore, technical details, and references. The easiest way to find pages that need creating is to browse the Wanted Pages list to find pages that are linked to multiple times, but do not yet exist. These are high-traffic pages, and should be carefully created to follow the Style Guide and the Example articles. Stubs show pages which need additional content and expansion. If you find a page that needs more content, add the {{stub}} tag to the top of the article to add it to that list

Maintenance tasks

These tasks are part of ongoing maintenance work. They include short-term cleanup or long-term revamps of categories. These often take a backseat to main content tasks, but should be dealt with on a timely basis.

For staff members

The following tasks can only be carried out by staff members such as Editors or Administrators.

By all users

The following tasks can be carried out by all users.
