Radiation will affect the player based on body surface exposed to it and distance.[1]
Hiding behind cover will allow to protect from the radiation.[1]
Different outfits will help protect against the radiation to varying degrees. As long as the radiation doesn't exceed the threshold the protection will hold but as radiation gets higher the protection will peel off.[1]
