The Oza is a hybrid citrus fruit first grown in Croshaw. Its hardiness, ease of transport, and juice yield has seen it rapidly spread across the Empire. It features thick, bumpy dark green skin, bright orange flesh ribbed with heavy pithing, and no seeds. Tart, sweet, and bitter, the taste of Oza is often described as being a combination of all the other citrus types rolled into one fruit. Difficult to peel and fibrous, its pulp is not often eaten. Typically it is split open and sucked on, its flesh being discarded. It is also popularly used in many cocktail recipes.[1]
