Starfarers are a common sight throughout the United Empire of Earth (UEE), performing fuel-related roles such as simple transport, in-flight refueling, and the collection and refining of fuel from space-borne sources, among other functions.

Starfarer

The MISC Starfarer is Star Citizen's fuel transporter, collector and refinery. They are able to collect Hydrogen fuel from stars and extrasolar sources, refine them and then refuel other ship's in flight. The Starfarer is able to dock with, and refuel, many different divisions of starship, thanks to it's docking mechanisms.

Starfarer Gemini

The MISC Starfarer Gemini (also known as G2M Gemini or 'Star G' ) is the military variant of the Starfarer co-produced with Aegis Dynamics. It is mainly used to support supply chains in UEE front line operations, and it has the capacity to support a squadron of Hornets on a multi-system combat assignment. It trades some cargo capacity and maneuverability in exchange for reinforced armor, increased shielding, more powerful engines and stronger versions of the three manned turrets. The Gemini also includes an optional missile pod, which can be swapped for the fuel intake unit on the ship's nose. Missile pods can be mounted to either Starfarer variant.
