During his time in a prestigious engineering school, he wrote a thesis that envisioned exciting work in the field of more affordable engine systems for spacecraft. The work caught the RSI founder [[Chris Roberts (lore)|Chris Roberts]]' interest since Roberts always dreamed to make space travel more accessible, Roberts quickly met with the fresh graduate and put together a team to build a more affordable engine for spacecraft.
