Standard Earth Year (SEY): 2380 is best known for the formation of the United Nations of Earth, an act which unified all of Earth's nations under one government.

- 2380-04-23, Delegate Ivan Tsang announces the formation of the United Nations of Earth at the close of the World Summit.[1][2][3]
October
- 2380-10-20, The crew of the Stanley, a warship from the former country of Amecanio mutinies threatening to attack multiple cities on Earth (Sol III) unless the government reverts to its pre-unified form.[4]
Major Events
- The Croshaw system is successfully terraformed, making it one of the first settlements outside of the Sol system.[1][5][6][2]
- The UNE leaves the exploration and charting of new systems to the private sector, offering incentives for them to do so.[7]
- Included in the original statutes with the creation of the UNE is the creation of the Office of Land Development, in order to continue regulating land claims.[8]
- The oldest branch of the military, the Army is established as part of the creation of the UNE.[9][10]
- Due to their importance, the 999th Test Squadron is directly incorporated into the new Navy.[11]
- Greycat Industrial transfers ownership from Odis Broussard to Pippa Broussard. Pippa's first act as CEO is to open the companies second manufacturing facility, this time on Angeli.[12]
