Fairo is a satellite of Pyro V. Like the other moons of Pyro V are named after fire related words in different languages, "Fairo" is the Ido word for "fire". One of the moon's striking features is an ocean which completely encircles its equatorial region.

Climate and environment

Fairo has a thick atmosphere, with the pressure at sea level being approximately 2.168 atmospheres. Average daytime temperatures are slightly above freezing.

The moon is entirely encircled by an ocean along its equator. It is not clear what materials give it its distinct blood-red color.

Locations

Development

The early concept for Fairo featured lava. "The geological active object is shaken by frequent earthquakes which 'creates spectacular waves in the lava oceans'."[1]
