GALAXT1KA (pronounced like Battlestar Galactica[1]) is Social Media Manager at Cloud Imperium Games.[2]
Work at CIG
Besides being the social manager, she also keeps an eye on Youtube and the community hub among others.[3]
As part of the community team, she participates in the planning of community events such as contests or events such as sending valentine's day cards to people who were commenting on the Valentine's day post[3]
Among others she pitched the Mesher dating app for April fools, and the same day Eve Online also released a dating app, which prompted false conspiracy theories.[3]

She started as a social media manager intern in a marketing company agency in Miami. She then worked for other agencies. People thought she was good at it and she kept doing it.[3]
She worked for the anime streaming company HIDIVE for a little while.[3]
She worked at Wargaming under her alias of Karmat1ka for World of Warships until November 2021.[4][5]
Early Life
She's always been a gamer, playing on Nintendo and Sega Genegis in the early 90's. [3]
She never sought to work in the game industry or as social media manager.[3]
She then knew that she wanted to be in marketing as it presented the opportunity to be creative and have fun.[3]

- She used the alias Karmat1ka since she started gaming, and chose Galaxt1ka when she joined CIG to separate her personal gaming alias from her professional one, with a space flair. She noticed a Chilean band using the name Karmatika so she started using the 1 so that it would be a handle nobody has.[3]
- Her favorite ship changes all the time.[3]
- Some of her favorite games are Subnautica, No Man's Sky. She likes crafting, building, creativity.[3]
- She creates her own gameloops such as delivering hot dogs to players who are in chat.[3]
