Rescue Squad One was a medical organization dedicated to providing swift and specialized medical assistance across the universe. With a fleet of state-of-the-art ships and highly trained medics, Rescue Squad One was at the forefront of interstellar emergency response.
Whether it was a stranded spacecraft in deep space, a mining colony suffering from an outbreak, or a remote research station in need of urgent medical attention, Rescue Squad One stood ready to deliver exceptional medical care, save lives, and offer a beacon of hope in the vastness of the cosmos.
History
Rescue Squad One was founded by Commander D.J. Soto to rescue players across the galaxy. Inspired by his vision, many citizens also joined the cause.

Fun Facts
- None of our medics were licensed! Despite that, our medics had an impressive 115% success rate in administering healing. Se—Medical healing.
- Rescue Squad One regularly sent fully manned capital ships to assist solo players. We even occasionally brought the whole fleet, just in case.
- Most players don't know this, but RS1 was also a taxi service. Even some of our own medics didn't know this!
Events
Besides rescuing citizens and ferrying stranded travelers, Rescue Squad One also used to run events to improve org members skills.
- Focused Events were events where hard skills and tactics were used and improved, e.g., flight training, FPS training, and holding SPK open for global use.
- Community Events were events where the focus was on existing game loops or then-current game events (such as Save Stanton) to improve communication, cooperation, and leadership skills.
Platoons, Squads, and Roles
As RS1's primary focus was on providing medical assistance in emergency situations, non-medical squads were viewed as support to the main medical rescue team, and not as wholly standalone units.
