Dan McCabe is Senior Vehicle Artist at Cloud Imperium Games.[2][3][4] Dan started as a Prop Artist at Foundry 42 Manchester in 2021.[5]
Early Life
When he was 12 or 13 everyone was making YouTube channels with noscope montages, and he started photoshopping logos and channel banners for them and made his own YouTube channel where he made speedart of making those, he then branched into 3D art, and then animated 3D intros for people's YouTube channels. He became good thanks to the feedback.[3]
He joined a gamedev course in college thinking it was an animation course, which turned out to be a happy mistake.[3]
He won a World Skills competition which led to him getting hired.[3]
Other Works
At 18 he went on to work at Codemasters on F1 2017, F1 2018, F1 2019, F1 2020, and F1 2021.[4]
Work at CIG
He joined CIG in July 2022.[3]
Dan has most recently worked on the Fury alongside Alex Williams.[3][6]
