Game package (or ship package) is a pledge package containing a Star Citizen base game, a ship and some credits which is needed to play the game, among some other non-necessities.[1] The most basic starter ship included is the Aurora although variants with said vehicle exchanged for a Mustang, Reliant, Avenger, Cutlass or others do exist.
Early backers had access to standard packages which included a copy of Squadron 42 as well as a digital copy of the original soundtrack. Ships acquired separately are referred to as standalone ships.
