Militia Mobilization Initiative (MMI) was created by UEE in 2946 to embolden the general public to help defend the Empire from the Vanduul and other aggressive forces. To facilitate the arming of new militias or home defense units, they will be able to purchase a variety of military-grade and specialty ships. In addition, a government subsidy is being offered to discount the bulk purchase of ships. UEE Navy tactical experts even created specific pre-designed ship teams to aid in fleet formation.[1]
Civilian Defense Force
"Under the authority of the UEE and the Militia Mobilization Initiative, the CDF is empowering a volunteer force of individuals in good legal standing to engage and neutralize any individuals or vehicles that they verify to have an active CrimeStat."
Statement of the CDF
The Civilian Defense Force (short CDF) was founded as an emergency combat unit to 'bolster militias and security forces,' mostly consisting of civilians. In 2949 the unit was established to be an standing unit in the Stanton System due to an increase of criminality.[2] Special Agent-in-Charge (SAIC) Rowena Dulli serves as its official attaché in Stanton.
Polaris
The RSI Polaris was fast-tracked for development following last year's Vanduul attack on the Vega system. The request-for-proposal specified a smaller, first-response alternative to the Idris-class frigates currently serving with both the UEE Navy and private concerns. Roberts Space Industries' Polaris bid was selected due to its unique combination of a fully equipped small craft hangar and an array of torpedo tubes that let it punch above its weight class.[1]

Eclipse
The Project Eclipse – signature-mitigated strikecraft, (hereinafter "ECLIPSE") offered within this disclosure is a military-level asset, and as such is subject to specific and compulsory legal exemptions and requirements to their use and registration under MILPROC. Notwithstanding the declassification of Project Eclipse, ECLIPSE embodies proprietary technologies and intellectual property that remain under the ownership of Aegis Dynamics and/or the UEE.
