Marco Corbetta

Marco Corbetta is VP of Technology at Cloud Imperium Games.[1]

While procedural generation was planned for further down the road, he insisted he could work on it now on his spare time if he could focus on it. His workload got lightened so he could work on it. He was Senior Technical Director at Foundry 42 before becoming VP of technology.[2]

He was lead programmer of Crytek's Far Cry and Crysis franchise. He also wrote the 3D engine Equinox, before his time at Prograph Research, where he was credited in 2002 for Tsunami 2265, distributed in the US by Got Game Entertainment.[3][4][5]
