Project Far Star is brought to a stop by the increasingly devastating raids of the Vanduul.^[5]
Virgil is transformed into a military outpost hosting entire fleets of the United Empire of Earth Navy to reinforce the front line in Tiber.^[5]
The 214th Squadron garners fame and attention for their performance during the battles in Orion and Tiber. They would see forward-deployment whenever there was suspected Vanduul clan movement.^[6]
