Xbox is a brand of video game consoles which includes for example the Xbox, the Xbox 360, the Xbox, the Xbox One, or the Xbox Series X.[1]
Star Citizen
Cloud Imperium currently no plans to release Star Citizen nor Squadron 42 on Xbox.[2]
CIG is open to considering making it happen if Microsoft allow to update the code and data without restrictions and time consuming quality control procedures, and if they allow the community to openly interact with each other across platforms.[2]
Even then it would only be contemplated as a port from the PC, not the other way around, plus CIG would require a financial commitment to make it happen. If some of the coolest features or peripherals don’t make it because the Xbox can’t handle it, CIG would never gimp the PC version.[2]
CIG doesn't want to make a game that works on the widest array of hardware, they are shooting for the stars both virtually and technology wise. For Chris Roberts Star Citizen is about pushing boundaries on all levels and is something that he hope is still breathing strong years from now. Instead of Crysis benchmarks when a new GPU is tested, Chris Roberts want to see Star Citizen.[2]
In addition, normally developers have exclusives on a console platform because the platform holder is funding the budget. Thanks to everyone that has crowdfunded Star Citizen CIG has no need for this.[2]
The PC is the platform of Star Citizen. Anything else, if it happens at all, will just be after the fact.[2]
