Erin Roberts is the Global Head of Production and the Studio Director of CIG UK.[1] He also serves as one of the directors of Gemini 42 Productions Ltd.
Work at CIG
He joined Foundry 42 UK, now Cloud Imperium Games, where he works on Star Citizen and Squadron 42 as Global Head of Production and Studio Director.
Other Works
He helped Chris Roberts on Times of Lore and he worked on the original Wing Commander at Origin Systems in 1987 where he did a lot of scripting for the AI and testing.
He also worked on Strike Commander.[3]
After Origin was acquired by Electronic Arts, he produced and directed Privateer 2: The Darkening.
He worked on Conquest: Frontier Wars.
Erin Roberts joined Digital Anvil when Chris Roberts started it in 1997, working on Privateer and as producer on Starlancer with several people who are now working on Star Citizen. He left Digital Anvil in 2005.
He spent 10 years working on the Lego games such as Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones.[4][2]
Trivia
- He's a big strategy and board game player and has spent many hours falling out with Nick Elms and Phil Meller over games of Risk and Axis & Allies.[5]
- He's the younger brother of Chris Roberts, by two years.[3]
