Mirai is introduced to the game to strengthen the brand identity of MISC, by separating the performance ships like Razor from the industrial ships that MISC offers. Razor and its variants are transitioned from MISC to Mirai.^[1]

Trivia

Mirai means "Future" in Japanese, the name Mirai honors the settlers of Centauri, home to MISC’s headquarters, and embodies its goal of creating the next generation of ships.^[3]
