Considered the "lifeblood of production on Orison," the Atlas-Class Cargo Ferry is a vast barge built by Crusader Industries for the specific purpose of distributing massive quantities of material to the various factory platforms across the city. These vessels are so spacious that even large vehicles such as the Mercury Star Runner can comfortably park on their dorsal landing pads.
Every day, a fleet of these ferries moves more than a million SCU worth of cargo between manufacturing platforms, shipyards, and support facilities to keep Orison supplied and stocked. Over 5,000 Crusader employees focus solely on the logistics that keep the barges full and flying to their next drop point.[1]
