The Ares Star Fighter Inferno, produced by Crusader Industries, is an anti-capital fighter equipped with a Behring manufactured Size 7 ballistic gatling. Its sustained fire capability is devastating, overpowering adversaries with a relentless barrage that can take down smaller vessels and rapidly shred the hulls of larger ones. While formidable on its own, the Inferno is an effective complement to the Ares Ion in capital ship engagements, as its armor-piercing rounds can be paired with the Ion's shield-disabling shots. This combination enhances the Inferno's effectiveness in hunting down capital ships.[1]

Features

Gatling Gun
The bespoke SF7B Ballistic Gatling Gun is designed for the autonomous targeting of substantial spacecraft. Its dense projectiles penetrate armor and incapacitate shields, rendering adversarial vessels vulnerable to subsequent bombardments and missile strikes. Smaller vessels can be obliterated within moments.[1]
Missiles
The Ares is equipped with three racks, capable of accommodating a total of twenty Size 3 missiles.[1]
Equipment Storage
The Ares is equipped with an 860K μSCU storage unit and specialized gun racks, both of which are accessible from the exterior at the rear.[1]
