Standard Earth Year (SEY): 2546 is best known for the end of the First Tevarin War, a decisive victory for the UPE that prompts the capture and colonization of the Tevarin homeworld of Kaleeth (renamed Jalan) and its system Kaleeth'ala (renamed Elysium). Idris IV is renamed Locke in honor of the leader of The Greys.
In February, there is an explosion at the Tram branch of the TDD, killing 700. The Advocacy connects it to the same Xi'an bomb components used in the Atrocity at Jata in 2545. Over the following weeks, fear festers in the UPE as four more terrorist bombings occur, killing hundreds more.
August
- 2546-08-23, The first of several explosions would echo through the Jata biodome. Three more explosions would take place over the coming moments, collapsing the biodome and killing thousands. The UPE would believe the attacks came from a Tevarin sleeper cell, however a subsequent investigation by the Advocacy would reveal the bombs were of Xi'an origin.[1]
September
- 2546-09-23, Terrell Milner is among the first to arrive on scene after the terrorist bombings of Jata. Milner would later be killed when a secondary device exploded crumbling the building around him. He would however, first save Alex Tinifel by throwing himself over the young boy before the debris fell.[2]
December
- 2546-12-15, Citizen vote in favor of replacing the Tribunal with a single Prime Citizen, promptly selecting Ivar Messer for the position.[3]
Major Events
- Ivar Messer, on the heels of the First Tevarin War is promoted to commander. He will use his popularity to become High-General before claiming that the Tribunal is an outdated system. Messer would stoke fear surrounding the Xi'an and propose the creation of a new office the Prime Citizen.
- Ivar Messer, shortly after empowering himself as Imperator, nationalizes the Government Cartography Agency (CGA) renaming it to the Imperial Cartography Center.
- Tayac I would be placed under the purview of Doctor Thessaly Tayac. The planet would spend the next several decades being terraformed, then de-terraformed. These tests would forever scar the planet that once had great potential into an uninhabitable rock with no atmosphere.[4]
