Welcome to the unofficial tourist guide to the Star Citizen 'verse! There are countless sights worth a visit, and we're here to help you find them all!
Considerations
Planning is essential before embarking on a long journey. Remember your three S's: Ships, Safety, and Supplies.
Ships
Some ships are better suited for long-distance travel than others. Look for ships with large quantum fuel tanks, such as exploration, touring, grand tourer and long-haul transport ships, to avoid getting stranded in the depths of space. Or, consider upgrading your quantum drive for a more fuel-efficient one - swapping components is as matter of plug-and-fly!
Safety
Research your destinations ahead of time. Many of the 'verse's most beautiful locations may not offer the security of UEElaw enforcement or other local security organizations. If you're venturing into frontier territories, choose a ship with ample armor plating and armaments, and/or consider hiring an escort, additional security staff, or gunners if your ship has turrets. Follow up-to-date news reports for insight into current pirate activity and avoid well-known criminal hotspots to increase your chances of a successful tour.
Piracy is always a possibility, even in high-security space. If your ship is boarded and you wish to defend yourself from the intruders, bring along personal weapons, ammo, and melee weapons to defend what's yours.
Supplies
Long-haul trips can stretch out for days - don't forget to pack food and drink for your journey, and consider bringing surplus rations in case of unforeseen delays.
Many of the exotic destinations may not be located in hospitable environments. Consider bringing specialized equipment such as a Novikov or Pembroke suit for extreme frigid and boiling environments, jackets and gloves for colder locales, and make sure you have at least one undersuit and helmet for every passenger.
Don't forget your ship! Maintenance is key for a safe voyage in the void, Some spare components can be a lifesaver, especially life support generators and quantum drives - bring a handheld tractor beam to move the equipment. Pack a couple of salvage tools and canisters filled with RMC for on-the-go repairs, and always remember to stock up on fuses!
⯈ Environmental hazards: Pyro frequently experiences unpredictable coronal mass ejections, which can endanger ships and personnel. ⯈ Security: Be ready to defend yourself. Local gangs and organizations are in active conflict with each other and may not be welcoming to strangers. ⯈ Infrastructure: Fuel vendors are sparse and under control of local factions, who may only grant access to known visitors.
Pyro I's northern hemisphere is home to a permanent storm which is clearly visible from orbit.
Petrified structures
Natural wonder
Surface
Petrified irregular structures of unknown origin are present all across the planet's surface, perhaps related to the intense beating it takes from the star.
At some point in the past, Pyro IV experienced a collision with another astronomical object. The impact was so massive that it altered the planet's orbit. Eventually, the gas giant Pyro V captured this planet, making it its outermost moon. The scars left behind by this cataclysmic event are visible to this day.
Stone arches
Natural Wonder
Red mountain biomes. Fallow Field is nestled within a cluster of stone arches.
Huge stone arches are scattered throughout some of Pyro IV's biomes. Their origin is unknown.
Adir, Pyro V's third moon, features a huge scar streaking across its surface. While its origins are currently unknown, it may have been caused by ejecta from the collision of Pyro IV with another astronomical object.
The first star system to feature in the game. Stanton's planets were sold off to four mega-corporations in 2865. While UEE Common Law still applies system-wide, UEE presence is lower than in fully-policed systems, and the corporations use a combination of their own forces and contracted private security organizations to manage their respective sectors. Security is generally acceptable, although various outlaw factions have targeted Stanton in recent years, including the Nine Tails, XenoThreat, and Slicers.
Owned by the company of the same name, this planet is the most industrialized world in Human space. In just 80 years, the terrain has been built up into a planet-spanning city (ecumenopolis).
Floating Sculpture
Art
Area18
Designed by Memphis Avery, this iconic floating sculpture of rotating gears sits at the center of ArcCorp's main district, symbolizing the never-ending activity of the planet.
Located on the 172nd floor of the IO-North Tower, you either need to be a member or be accompanied by one to get into this exclusive venue. It may not literally be million miles high, but the drink prices definitely are. Sadly, the club is so exclusive that you can't even look outside a window to enjoy the lofty view -- the MMHC is well known for its plethora of reviews calling it "anticlimactic."
Originally a shipyard built by the UEE Navy, these floating platforms were repurposed into factories and living spaces by Crusader Industries when the company purchased the gas giant in 2865. Be sure to check out the various Discovery Spots scattered throughout the city to learn more.
Get an inside look at Crusader Industries' shipbuilding endeavors and watch as engineers put the final touches on brand-new C2 Hercules ships as they glide off of the assembly lines.
These Crusader-native animals live in the gas giant's atmosphere. Catch a Discovery Tours shuttle in Orison's Cloudview Center for a guided wildlife tour, or venture out on your own and meet these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
A monument built to protest the commercialization of art and commodification of humanity. One of the first easter eggs present in the game, its location is unmarked and visitors must triangulate their way to it.
Nobody knows why or what is being dumped into the depths of Lorville, but the drainage pipes are the first sight of the city for many people who live in Lorville's L19 Residences in Leavsden Square. Considering Hurston Dynamics' general demeanor, many wouldn't be surprised if the corporation quite literally is defecating on its workers.
A golden statue of Archibald Hurston, Hurston's youngest CEO, greets visitors in the CBD's main lobby. Take a look at the timeline wall to learn more about the history of Hurston Dynamics, and see some of the company's ship weapons on display as well.
microTech's stunning flagship store. A haven for gadget lovers and tech nerds, and the only place to buy a new case for your mobiGlas. While you're there, check out the very first mobiGlas, which is on display in the lobby.

The Promenade, New Babbage
An ice sculpture created in 2891 by Fay Womak adorns the main floor of Wally's Bar, intended to reflect the city and evoke the interplay between cold and creativity that are the hallmarks of life in New Babbage.
