The Anvil U9C Hawk is a civilian light fighter with an emphasis on weaponry. It boasts an impressive arsenal of lethal and non-lethal weapons. It also features a single prisoner pod in the rear, allowing the pilot to safely and securely transport a captured target. The ship is commonly used by bounty hunters and local security forces due to its unique capabilities.[1]

Features

  • EMP: To truly capture your bounty's ship, you need to disable it, not destroy it. This is why the Hawk has a electro-magnetic pulse generator installed.
  • Containment pod: After you've successfully captured your bounty, you need to safely and securely transport your prisoner. This is why Anvil has install a containment pod at the rear of the ship.
  • Weapons: To assist you in disabling your bounty's ship, the Hawk has a pair of Size 1 Joker Engineering's infamous Suckerpunch distortion cannons installed. However if you need extra firepower, the ship has up to four Size 2 gun hard-points if needed.

Trivia

  • The in-lore development of the Hawk is featured in an independent documentary called Six Shooter, which follows six very different bounty hunters who are connected only through their ownership of Hawk-class ships. For technical details and schematics, Hedgecris Repair Manual #135 covers model years 2942 through 2948.[7]
