The RSI Aurora ES (also known as Essential) is the most common "starter ship" for new flyers across the galaxy. The Aurora ES boasts a rugged base construction along with ample room for upgrades. Each of the Aurora series is specialized in some way, but the ES is a true "jack-of-all-trades" for the enterprising pilot.

Features

Affordability
It is marketed as an entry-level spacecraft with a lower price point making it one of the more common vehicles found in the United Empire of Earth.
Cargo/Stowage
The ship has the capability of carrying up to 3 SCUs of cargo with its Mini Cargo Pod hold as well as 650K μSCU of internal stowage.
Bed
The designers at Roberts Space Industries managed to fit a bed in the center of the craft, allowing you to rest on those longer journeys.
Weapons
The ES comes fitted with two size 1 guns at the front of the ship as well as two more hard-points under the wings if you wish to install more. It also has a size 2 missile hard-point on top (comes with two size 1 missiles as standard).
