The Syulen, ( Xi'an; Xi'an: Syu0len(Syulen) /sju˧lɛn˧/ ( listen) (Proper); literally Fly Peacefully; ) a cargo ship produced by Gatac Manufacture, has been skillfully designed by the esteemed House Ng.at'ak to cater to the needs of both Human and Xi'an pilots. Boasting a sleek and nimble structure, the Syulen is perfectly suited for transporting crucial shipments throughout the vast expanse of the universe. Additionally, it serves as an excellent choice for aspiring transport professionals embarking on their career journey.^[1]

Cargo

It has three cargo racks on the exterior, each of which can carry 2x 1 SCU boxes, for a total of 6 SCU. There is also 6 SCU of stowage, and a 0.65 SCU stowage compartment below the bed.^[1]

Agility

The Syulen is very agile for its size and shape, thanks to 24 maneuvering thrusters, three retro thrusters and six main thrusters. It is capable of 19G of acceleration, and it offers an SCM speed of 200 meters per second.^[1]

Weapons

The ship is comparatively well-armed, with three size 3 gun mounts and twelve size 2 missiles on custom (non-removable) racks.^[1]

Range

The Syulen features a 2900-liter quantum fuel tank, instead of the standard 583 liters for a ship of this size class, empowering operators to install fast size 1 quantum drives that would ordinarily have restrictive range limitations.^[1]

It had to feel alien but not oppressive, and kind of a bit holy, which is why the cockpit is also a dome. The ship is meant to show off the Xi'an advanced gravitational technology. During development, lead vehicle designer Mark came to Alberto Petronio and said "we always do spaceships like they're planes, why don't we have one that looks like a rocket." The ship texture was supposed to be damascus but ended up being something between coral and rock. ^[2]
