The ROC-DS (Remote Ore Collector Dual Seat) is a dual-seat mining vehicle produced by Greycat Industrial. Equipped with a more robust custom mining head, it is particularly suited for tasks that exceed initial expectations. The vehicle features a manually operated mining arm capable of accessing challenging deposits, thereby reducing operational difficulties. Additionally, it offers over four times the ore-storage capacity compared to the standard model, enhancing profitability. [1]

Features

Larger Cargo Bay
The DS possesses over four times the mineral storage capacity of the conventional ROC with a total of 3.5 SCU, coupled with the capability to manually load both compartments or utilize the mining rig for this purpose. This enhanced functionality allows for a substantial decrease in the time and labor required for extensive excavation operations.
Manual Mining Arm
The vehicle is equipped with a manually operated mining arm that enables rapid and efficient completion of various tasks. It boasts a custom, locally-controlled mining laser that offers enhanced range and power. Additionally, the remarkable adaptability of the rig's boom arm allows for excavation in previously inaccessible locations.
Integrated Extraction Beam
Efficiently gather ore from the secure environment of the mining turret and immediately transfer it to the onboard storage using the fully integrated tractor beam, which features a superior collection radius.
Enclosed Cabin
The ROC-DS is well-equipped to handle extensive excavation tasks and challenging environmental conditions. Its design prioritizes optimal visibility and safety, featuring a fully enclosed cab that ensures the operator maintains comprehensive control over all operations.
