The Anvil F7C Hornet Wildfire is a customized F7C Hornet based on famed pilot Aria Reilly's loadout. It swapped energy weapons for ballistic cannons. It also increases the versatility of the missiles for both long-range and short-range combat. Additionally, the center ball turret, normally used for cargo in the Hornet, is reinstalled a Relevant Ballistic Gatling.[1]

  • F7C Hornet: The F7C Hornet is the base model and the civilian version of the Hornet.[5]
  • F7C-R Hornet Tracker: The F7C-R Hornet Tracker is the scout version of the Hornet. It features a radar instead of a turret.[6]

History

Created as part of the Masters of Flight series in conjunction with the flight-sim Arena Commander, the Wildfire pays tribute to famed pilot Aria Reilly for her distinguished service with the legendary Squadron 42. This Hornet comes equipped with her own personally selected loadout preferences and a custom special edition livery honoring her iconic ship.[1]

Aria Reilly

Aria Reilly was a distinguished Squadron 42 pilot and commanding officer. During her early years as a combat pilot, Reilly rigorously tested all of her assigned ships. She eventually favoured the F7C Hornet Wildfire, using it as her test bed and all-purpose fighter for any task that she was assigned.
