The MISC Freelancer DUR is the exploration variant of the Freelancer ship. It sacrifices some of the cargo capacity of the standard Freelancer in exchange for a more advanced scanner, an expanded fuel tank, a fuel refinery and an enhanced jump drive. This may seem like a bad call to some, but those who value discovery over profit will find it to be their ship of choice.[1][2]
